On track for future projects
The Level Crossing Removal Authority has announced it will remove three more level crossing on the Frankston line.
With an extensive railway portfolio of successful installations across the country, Australian Handrails hope to be involved with such projects.
The crossing removals is part of the Andrew’s Government initiative to remove 50 level crossings by 2022 to increase safety and reduce traffic congestion.
The last rail project Australian Handrails was involved in was the Bentleigh station rail crossing removal and revamp which is located on the Frankston Line.
The company has also done projects at Springvale, Cardinia, Lynbrook, Nunawading and Laverton station.
All the projects have been successful with installations of balustrades, handrails and perforated sheeting taking place.
Australian Handrails would be proud to be part of future level crossing removals and revamps to ensure the best quality product is being used for the safety of the public and at a good cost to taxpayers.
